A respite stay should bring relief—not create additional stress for families. At The Veranda, loved ones can receive attentive, personalized care while remaining close to home in the Dadeville and Lake Martin area. With welcoming spaces, consistent caregivers, and a comfortable daily routine, guests settle in quickly while families enjoy peace of mind knowing they're nearby and in caring hands.

Even during a short stay, our caregivers take time to learn the routines, preferences, and comforts that matter most to each resident. Whether it’s a favorite snack, a preferred morning routine, enjoying coffee on the porch, or participating in a favorite activity, these personal details help create a comfortable, familiar experience. Our goal is for every respite resident to feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive, making their stay feel less like a temporary visit and more like home.
Respite residents receive the same attentive support as every member of our community. Our experienced caregivers assist with medications, mobility, bathing, dressing, meals, and other daily needs while encouraging comfort and independence whenever possible. With long-tenured staff, ongoing training, and a strong focus on compassionate care, families can feel confident their loved one is in capable, caring hands.
